Grazing Charcuterie in Johnson County: How to Feed a Crowd Beautifully
A charcuterie board feeds a table. Grazing charcuterie feeds the whole room.
If you're hosting a shower, a graduation, a company happy hour, or a party where people will mingle for hours, a grazing table is the spread they'll still be talking about the next day. Here's what grazing charcuterie is, what goes on it, and how to book one in Overland Park, Olathe, or anywhere in Johnson County.
What is grazing charcuterie?
Grazing charcuterie is charcuterie built to be wandered up to, not passed around. Instead of one board on a coffee table, the food is laid out across a table, styled from end to end, and guests help themselves all night.
What goes on a Kart and Craving grazing table
Every table is designed and styled by hand, and no two look the same. A typical spread includes:
Cheeses: Bella Rosso, a soft Brie, Dutch Aged Gouda, and seasonal specialty cheeses
Cured meats: soppressata and prosciutto, folded and layered for easy grabbing
Sweet and savory spreads: small-batch jams like our peach pepper jam
Crunch: artisan crackers and nuts
Bright bites: olives, dried fruit, and fresh seasonal fruit
Finishing touches: greenery and edible florals that tie the table to your event's colors
Many of our specialty items aren't sold in local grocery stores. That's part of what makes guests stop and ask, "Where did this come from?"
Three ways to book grazing charcuterie
Planning your grazing table: common questions
How much does grazing charcuterie cost? Grazing tables start at $20 per person. Final pricing depends on your guest count, which option you choose, and any custom requests.
How many people can a grazing table feed? We size every table to your guest list. Tell us your headcount and whether the table is the main food or an appetizer, and we'll build to that. Grazing tables are good for groups of 26 or more.
How much setup time do you need? Plan on about two hours of access to your space before guests arrive. We bring everything, build the table on site, and leave it ready for your first guest.
Do you deliver? Delivery is free anywhere in Johnson County, including Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Leawood, and Shawnee. Outside Johnson County, a $75 travel fee applies.
How far ahead should I book? 3-5 weeks is ideal. Spring weekends fill up first with graduations and showers. Octobers are usually booked with weddings.
